New webinar series “Research security and technologies with dual-use potential in the EU” organized by Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Lithuania on 29 February and 4 March!
29 February, 2024: The first initiative focuses on increasing research security across the EU. The aim is to provide greater transparency, offer clear guidance and support to Member States and the research and innovation sector. This is intended to help mitigate threats to research security and ensure that international cooperation in research and innovation remains both open and secure.

4 March, 2024: The second initiative, known as the White Paper, presents various options for strengthening research and development in technologies with dual-use potential. In an open public consultation, public authorities, civil society, industry and academia are invited to provide their insights and comments , which will help shape the Commission's future actions. The consultation is open until 30 April 2024.
