TRUST2COARA Final Conference – Towards More Innovative and Responsible Research Assessment
The final conference of the TRUST2COARA project, funded by the European Union, will be held on 2 December 2025 in Tunis. It will bring together researchers, experts, and key stakeholders to present and discuss the main results and recommendations of the project regarding innovation in research assessment practices.
Supported by the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), this project is a joint initiative of the University of Carthage and the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) in Barcelona.
As part of this project, the PMO of UCAR and the Doctoral School of INSAT have highlighted the importance and relevance of research assessment criteria such as societal and environmental impacts, multidisciplinarity, and dissemination of results, aiming to strike a balance between traditional quantitative indicators and qualitative aspects.
