The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (General Directorate of Scientific Research) informs that the Swiss Leading House MENA is launching its 2025 call for proposals for the Research Partnership Grants (RPG), aiming to strengthen collaborations between researchers in Switzerland and partner countries in the MENA region.
With a maximum amount of CHF 25,000, these grants support the establishment of new joint projects or the consolidation of existing initiatives with a view to long-term partnerships.
Open to all scientific fields, the call values a wide diversity of methods: field research, feasibility studies, qualitative interviews, artistic or design research, workshops, etc.
The objective is to lay the groundwork for future projects that could benefit from support from national or international funding agencies or to strengthen sustainable partnerships between institutions or research groups. Mutual commitment from the partners, notably in the form of financial or in-kind contributions, is an essential selection criterion.
Both partners must hold a position in Switzerland and in a MENA country for the entire duration of the project and demonstrate solid academic or practical experience.
